OBSERVE THE FOLLOWING GUIDELINES FOR A
40-MINUTE SESSION OF "ESCOLA AQUI" IN YOUR HOUSE/STREET/YARD:
INSTALLATION IN YOUR HOUSE/STREET/YARD:

1- Choose or compose a text fragment about something you believe is interesting to discuss with your guest(s);

2- Reproduce this on paper (print or handwrite) or in a shared digital file;

3- Invite at least one person to participate on a specific day/time (if possible in person – obeying the local rules of social distancing);

4- Establish one table or a surface that will serve as a table and as many seats as necessary to accommodate you and your guest(s);

5- Visual sign the place you choose as an “Escola Aqui” space;

6- Photograph this prepared spot without people yet.

ACTIVATION:

1- It is recommended to start your meeting by asking guests to  acknowledge the various social positions in the group and establishing a strategy to promote equity (for example, applying the progressive stack technique).

2- Distribute the text for reading – printed or handwritten on a sheet of paper or in digital format – and ask that, in 10 to 15 minutes, the participant(s) intervene in this text covering or adding words (if digital, ask them to not delete the text, but mark it with a dash what they want to exclude, adding their text if they wish, changing the punctuation, etc.);

3- Next, each person reads her/his/their text (please record the reading on video or audio);

4- Then use as much time as you like for a group debate about the experience and the content you have studied;

5- Photograph as much as possible the participants and the event.

REMEMBER:

Please, send all files to contato@carolinapaz.com
